Position Description:



Job Title: Senior Test Engineer

Position: Automation Testing

Experience:6 to 8 years

Your future duties and responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, TestNG, and JUnit Perform API Testing using Postman and Rest Assured Experience in Ready API, Bitbucket, TestNG, GIT, Jenkins. Experience in GIT, Jira and confluence. Develop and execute Regression and Smoke test suites to ensure application stability Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for new and existing features Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment to ensure high-quality deliverables Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and QA-related ceremonies Conduct root cause analysis and work with the development team to resolve defects Provide release support by performing pre/post-deployment testing in staging/production environments Identify opportunities to improve test coverage and automation across projects Ability to communicate technical terms to non-technical audience. Ability to clearly articulate thoughts and ideas to stakeholders and partners. Builds strong commitment within the team to support the appropriate team priorities. Agile/scrum experience. Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver Proficiency with JUnit and TestNG frameworks Solid knowledge of Postman and Rest Assured for API testing Deep understanding of Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, and API Testing methodologies Experience with Test Planning, defect tracking, and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr) Familiarity with Agile QA practices, Scrum ceremonies, and CI/CD processes Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills Good communication and collaboration skills
