The company is based in Jamnagar, Gujarat, and is known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and customer-centric approach.About the Role:The QA - RIR executive will be responsible for conducting incoming material inspections, preparing Receiving Inspection Reports, ensuring that all raw materials, components, and bought-out items meet specified quality standards before they enter production. The role requires a detail-oriented and systematic individual with strong knowledge of quality inspection methods and documentation processes.Key Responsibilities:Perform incoming quality inspections of raw materials, components, and purchased items as per company standards and specifications.Prepare, maintain, and update Receiving Inspection Reports (RIR) for all incoming consignments.Verify material certifications, supplier documents, and technical specifications.Identify non-conformities and coordinate with the procurement and supplier quality teams for corrective actions.Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of inspection results, reports, and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).Work closely with production, stores, and quality teams to maintain smooth workflow and quality standards.Participate in internal and external audits, as required.Basic Requirements:Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering or a related field.13 years of experience in quality inspection and reporting, preferably in the metal components manufacturing industry.Good understanding of engineering drawings, material specifications, and quality control processes.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and basic ERP operations.Preferred Requirements:Knowledge of OEM manufacturing processes such as casting, forging, machining, plating, and assembly.Familiarity with industry quality standards like ISO 9001.Experience in document control, material traceability, and vendor coordination.Good communication and reporting skills.
