The Line QC is responsible for ensuring that all garments products meet quality standards during production. This involves on-the-spot inspection, identifying defects, and coordinating with production teams to correct issues in real time.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect garments or fabric pieces during each stage of production (cutting, stitching, finishing).
Identify and classify defects such as incorrect stitching, stains, fabric flaws, or sizing issues.
Maintain records of quality checks and defect rates for each production line.
Provide immediate feedback to operators and supervisors on quality issues.
Ensure compliance with customer quality specifications and internal standards.
Conduct inline audits and end-line inspections as needed.
Train line workers on quality standards and techniques for defect prevention.
Verify that corrective actions are implemented and effective.
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in garment/textile quality control.
Good understanding of garment construction and fabric types.
Familiar with AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) standards.
Strong observation and attention to detail.
Basic reporting and documentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
