Job Description

:
Shall have worked at Power Project in the area of QA/QC of Electrical & instrumentation systems and testing/erection/commissioning, viz., transformers, VFDs, Cables (HT/LT), HT and LT Motors, field instruments, DCS, vibration monitoring systems, etc.
Work profile is as below:

• Preparation, implementation and monitoring of all Contract Specific Quality Procedures and Work Instructions.
• Interaction with vendors for quality requirement finalization with critical suppliers.
• Ensure that inspections and tests as per project inspection and test plans are implemented and are adequately documented and approved, including liaison with the customer.
• Resolution of quality problems; preparation and maintenance of contract quality records.
• Ensures availability of adequate and qualified resources for supplier inspection (internal inspectors or TPIA).
• Supervises and directs TPIA Inspectors as per supplier requests/inspection notification.
• To review inspection reports issued by TPIA/AI prior to project distribution.
• Advise project personnel in taking appropriate corrective and preventive action on non-conformances.
• Preparation & Standardization of QAPs, FQAPs, SOPs
• Support Project Quality team at HO/Site in preparation/review of project documents.
• Implementation of procedures, work instructions, and a database covering all aspects of Electrical systems
• Conduct regular awareness programs/training on electrical systems.
• Monitoring work as per ITP, QAP and work procedures. Preparation of protocols
• Cable Quality index Control and monitoring of cable puller performance.
• Witness the hydro/pneumatic test of instrument piping.
• Day-to-day inspection for field inspection activities.
• Facilitate the project team during selection/evaluation and re-evaluation of Electrical contractor & Specialized agency performance monitoring
• Monitoring and analysis of site quality problems (including Troubleshooting) for E&I activities and taking corrective and preventive actions for effective resolving site issues
• Monthly Quality MIS, Product NCR Management for effective resolution
• Coordination with the client for inspection clearance.
