Role Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Lead with hands-on experience in Power Platform technologies, specifically Power Apps and Power Automate. The ideal candidate will lead testing efforts across multiple projects, ensuring quality delivery of low-code or no-code applications and automated workflows. This role will require strong test strategy skills, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of Microsoft Power Platform solutions Lead end-to-end testing activities for solutions built using Power Apps and Power Automate. Define, develop, and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases for functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. Drive test automation and process improvements using tools compatible with Power Platform. Ensure that all testing is carried out in accordance with industry standards and best practices. Coordinate and manage testing resources across different phases of the SDLC. Provide clear and concise test status reporting and defect tracking using tools like Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira. Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives as part of the Agile process. Mentor and guide junior QA team members. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in QA/testing, with at least 2+ years in Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate). Strong understanding of Canvas Apps, Model-driven Apps, and Power Automate Flows. Experience with manual and automated testing, especially in the context of Power Platform. Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Test Plans, and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of Dataverse, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Dynamics 365 integrations. Good understanding of API testing, data validation, and performance testing. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies. Microsoft certifications in Power Platform. Familiarity with Power BI, AI Builder, or RPA in Power Automate Desktop. * Experience with security and compliance testing in cloud-based platforms.
