Job Objective



The QA/QC professional ensures that all products manufactured by Optima Life Sciences meet defined standards of safety, quality, performance, and regulatory compliance. The role integrates

preventive quality systems (QA)

and

testing/inspection responsibilities (QC)

to ensure consistent, reliable product quality.

1. Quality Assurance (QA)Process & System Quality



Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS). Develop, review, and control SOPs, work instructions, and quality documents. Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as

ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP, GLP

.

Documentation & Compliance



Manage deviations, CAPA, change control, and risk assessments. Review batch manufacturing records, QC reports, and production documents. Support internal and external audits (regulatory, customer, certification bodies).

Validation & Qualification



Participate in process validation, method validation, and equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ). Ensure new products meet QA specifications before release.

Training & Continuous Improvement



Conduct in-house training on GMP, safety, documentation, and quality systems. Lead or support Lean, Kaizen, and root-cause analysis initiatives.

2. Quality Control (QC)Testing & Inspection



Conduct incoming, in?process, and final product inspections. Perform physical, chemical, or functional tests based on product type. Verify raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods meet specifications.

Laboratory Operations



Operate and maintain laboratory instruments (HPLC, UV-Vis, FTIR, pH meter, etc. -- customizable). Maintain calibration logs, control standards, and lab records.

Quality Documentation



Prepare test reports, Certificates of Analysis (COA), and inspection records. Record and report non-conformities, test deviations, and out?of?spec results.

Material Release



Assist in material release or rejection decisions based on test results. Maintain traceability, sampling records, and product quality data.

Required Qualifications



B.Sc / M.Sc in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or equivalent. 2-7+ years of experience in QA/QC in life sciences, pharma, biotech, diagnostics, or related industries.

Skills & Competencies



Strong understanding of GMP, GLP, ISO 9001/13485 standards. Knowledge of QA systems, audits, documentation, and compliance. Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments and testing. Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Good communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.

Candidates with relevant experience in

Poultry Feed & Feed Additives will be given preference.

Pay: ?400,000.00 - ?700,000.00 per year
