QA - (Mobile Apps Tester)

Experienced QA Engineer with 3-5 years in mobile application testing on Android and iOS platforms. Skilled in manual testing, test planning, bug tracking, and regression testing. Strong knowledge of mobile UI/UX standards, API testing, and performance tools. Committed to delivering high-quality, bug-free apps aligned with user and business needs.

Responsibilities for this Positions:

Manual testing of bug-fixing and enhancement to existing systems through varying scripted, sanity, and exploratory testing methods.
Need to work closely with engineers, product owners, designers, a team of QA analysts to ensure our products are of the highest possible quality.
Preparing clear documentation of testing steps, cases, and processes where required.
Collaborate with business analysts and developers to create test strategies and workflows for new products/applications.
Responsible for testing complex web/mobile-based applications, covering both front and back-end parts of the systems.

Continuously strive to improve our testing processes by the use of creative thinking to find edge case issues.
Detect usability and performance issues by writing and executing test plans.
Report bugs and errors to developers and coordinate with them for fixing.
To ensure cross-platform and cross-device functionality of our products.
Development and execution of test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures.
Provide a time frame for testing on projects for both existing and new applications.
Work closely with the client service team for enhancement requests, emphasize new bugs, ticket management including screening.
Should possess a clear understanding and experience of testing APIs using tools such as Postman.
Software development lifecycles clear understanding, a basic understanding of Git, and version control.
Should be able to introduce new testing processes, technologies, update systems for bugs, and involve in defining new processes.
Offer feedback, support, and guidance, to other QA team members and the wider technical service team.
Report daily activities to the QA lead.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Must have 3+years' experience in Mobile Application Testing
Proficient in different types of testing methodologies
Minimum 3-5 years of QA experience across the web or mobile applications
Hands-on experience of performance testing.
Working experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Must have understanding and knowledge of browser compatibility and knowledge of WCAG compliance.
Involvement across multiple projects/workflows together with varying team members and stakeholders.
Good experience verifying data in MySQL/SQL.
Experience in running and participating in User Acceptance Testing.
Should be comfortable using the Mac/Linux command-line interface.
Sound knowledge and experience of using automated testing frameworks.
Must have good English written and verbal communication skills to represent the test cases to the overseas team.
Should be able to document and troubleshoot errors.
Ability and experience to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Must have a problem-solving persona with an analytical mind.
Pay attention to detail with strong organization skills.
Have a high spirit of making things happen, succeed together by working collaboratively with other teammates.
