Principal Engineer - Asia IT Manual and API Testing

Marsh IT(Testing team) is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Mumbai/Pune office.

Principal Engineer - IT Quality & Assurance Testing

What can you expect?
\xc2\xb7 The successful applicant will be expected to take full ownership of all Manual and automation testing deliverables, follow all test practise guidelines, and contribute to the existing automation test pack by execution and scripting.
\xc2\xb7 Candidate will have to take full knowledge of the application, productive in executing manual test packs for releases, follow current test practice in first 30 days. In 60 days understand the overall project test practice and programs, In 90 days understand overall organization test practice and programs.
\xc2\xb7 This is new team that is formed which will have combination of manual and functional automation testing team members and working in different project in Marsh-IT.
\xc2\xb7 Mostly the training is in-house but it has been our experience that exposure at Marsh to such a wide range of tools/software has meant previous members of the team have transformed into functional automation test engineers with highly marketable and transferable skills

We will count on you to:
\xc2\xb7 5 + years experience in the IT industry Demonstrable experience of working on successful manual and functional automation test programs on enterprise scale applications or projects
\xc2\xb7 Estimate the work allocated on test activities and Create ,modify and maintain TC for functional and regression test suites
\xc2\xb7 Participate in design discussions for new functionalities & Coordinate with stakeholders as and when needed to understand requirements
\xc2\xb7 Investigate technical problems and needs, identify their source, and determine possible solutions.
\xc2\xb7 Communicate effectively with team members and all the stakeholders of the project
\xc2\xb7 Good reporting skills to concerned stakeholders
\xc2\xb7 Work with test manager/ test leads to improve ROI of overall functional test
\xc2\xb7 To manage and work in Agile delivery model
\xc2\xb7 Compliance to CMMi level 5 in test delivery
\xc2\xb7 Closely working with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Testers and Development team members on requirements, clarifications, issues to sort out the bottlenecks in quality deliverables on time
\xc2\xb7 Helping in preparing the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts and support for UAT execution.
\xc2\xb7 Prepare and provide the Test Reports at the end of Release Cycle.
\xc2\xb7 Act as a subject matter expert in the functionality assigned for the project
\xc2\xb7 Maintains security, integrity, and business continuity controls and documents
\xc2\xb7 Responsibility on Quality of the products including Performance and Security
\xc2\xb7 Builds knowledge on emerging tools, techniques and technologies.

What you need to have:
\xc2\xb7 Experience in REST API Testing (PostMan and NewMan).
\xc2\xb7 Integration testing experience.
\xc2\xb7 Experience with CI/CD.
\xc2\xb7 Exposure to test services between integrated systems
\xc2\xb7 Good understanding of manual test process and defect management,
\xc2\xb7 Good understanding of agile life cycle (end to end)
\xc2\xb7 Insurance Domain experience.

\xc2\xb7 Able to methodically produce the steps which exhibit bugs in the application and be able to reproduce and communicate these steps effectively
