Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Assurance Manual Tester based in Indore. The Quality Assurance Tester will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting testing activities to ensure software quality and functionality. They will prepare and execute detailed test cases, conduct manual testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues. The role also involves analyzing system and business requirements to create comprehensive test plans.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases. Perform manual functional, regression, integration, and UI testing. Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla). Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure timely resolution of issues. Validate fixes and perform re-testing. Participate in sprint planning and provide QA input in Agile environments. Ensure testing deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines. Prepare test reports and communicate test results to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 1 year of experience in manual software testing. Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC. Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Good communication skills.
