About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior QA Engineer (Manual)
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and stability of our applications through structured manual testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, review, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product requirements.
Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, system, UI, and user acceptance testing.
Identify, analyze, and report defects clearly with reproducible steps.
Collaborate closely with development teams to troubleshoot, validate fixes, and ensure timely closure of bugs.
Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA perspective and feedback early in the development cycle.
Ensure adherence to QA best practices, processes, and standards.
Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to continuous improvement of QA methodologies.
Must-Have Skills:
Strong experience with manual testing methodologies, test planning, and test execution.
Hands-on experience using the right bug tracking/ticketing tools (such as Jira, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps, or similar) is a must.
Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and documentation.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Good-to-Have (Plus) Skills:
Experience with automated testing tools is a strong plus.
Basic knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Swagger) is desirable.
Understanding of SQL for basic data validation.
Familiarity with performance, load, or security testing concepts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in manual QA/testing roles.
