We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. The role involves understanding requirements, creating test cases, executing manual tests, identifying defects, and working closely with developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze requirements and functional specifications to understand testing scope
Design, write, and execute manual test cases and test scenarios
Perform different types of testing such as:
Functional testing
Regression testing
Smoke testing
Sanity testing
UI/UX testing
Identify, document, and track bugs using defect tracking tools
Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members
Prepare test reports and share test results with stakeholders
Ensure software meets quality standards before release
Required Skills & Qualifications
Basic to strong understanding of
Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
Knowledge of
SDLC
and QA methodologies
Experience in writing
test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps)
Understanding of web and/or mobile application testing
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Good communication and documentation skills
Preferred Skills (Optional)
Knowledge of
SQL basics
Basic understanding of
API testing
(Postman, Swagger)
Exposure to
Agile/Scrum methodology
Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium) is a plus
