ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced

QA Tester

with strong expertise in

Manual Testing

and good exposure to

Automation Testing

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web and/or mobile applications by executing comprehensive test strategies across the SDLC in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities (Manual & Automation Testing)

Analyze business and technical requirements to design

test plans, test scenarios, and test cases

. Perform

functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, system, and UAT testing

. Execute manual and automated test cases, document results, and ensure defect traceability. Identify, log, track, and validate defects using standard

defect tracking tools

. Perform

exploratory testing

to uncover edge cases and usability issues. Design and maintain

automation test scripts

for regression and smoke testing using tools such as

Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright

. Identify automation-worthy test cases and improve overall

test coverage

. Execute automated test suites and analyze failures. Integrate automated tests into

CI/CD pipelines

and support cross-browser testing. Validate fixes, perform regression testing, and support

production releases

. Ensure compliance with

QA best practices, standards, and Agile processes

COLLABORATION & AGILE PRACTICES

Collaborate closely with

developers, product owners, and business analysts

to resolve defects. Participate actively in

Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives

. Review test cases and

mentor junior QA team members

. Provide test estimates, risk assessments, and quality metrics to stakeholders.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of proven experience in

Manual Software Testing

. Strong understanding of

SDLC and STLC

. Hands-on experience in

functional, regression, system, and UAT testing

. Experience testing

web and/or mobile applications

. Strong knowledge of

test case design techniques

. Hands-on experience with

defect tracking tools

such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps. Experience working in

Agile/Scrum environments

. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

PREFERRED / GOOD-TO-HAVE SKILLS

Experience in

Automation Testing

using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar. Basic knowledge of

SQL

for data validation. Experience with

API testing

using tools like Postman or Swagger. Familiarity with

test management tools

such as TestRail, Zephyr, or qTest. Exposure to

CI/CD tools

like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure Pipelines. Experience in

cross-browser and cross-device testing

. Understanding of automation testing concepts and best practices.
