Role Overview
The QA Manager is responsible for leading the Quality Assurance function, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and driving initiatives that improve product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Strategy & Planning:
Develop QA strategy, define KPIs, align processes with business objectives.
Team Leadership & Management:
Lead and mentor QA engineers, manage resources, foster accountability.
Test Management:
Oversee test plans, ensure coverage, manage defect lifecycle.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10-15+ years of QA experience, with 3-4 years in leadership.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit).
Understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in SaaS, technology, or enterprise software.
Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
Certifications (ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
