Your Mission



We are looking for a highly experienced QA Lead with 10+ years of experience to join a cross-functional, cross-product program focused on rolling out Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud across 80+ markets in 2025 and 2026. This role will report to the Marketing CRM Digital Lead and operate at the Program/ART level, responsible for defining and managing the delivery of a modern, agile test strategy aligned with C4 standards.



What You'll Do



As Marketing CRM QA lead, you will be responsible for working with the partners below to establish our E2E test strategy and oversee that is conducted to a high standard as each product team releases capability to production.

Chief Marketing Office (CMO) Operations team QA Lead (Owns testing of campaigns during the Go To Market phase)

MarTech Platform DevOps and QA Lead (Owns platform durability and integrity, including monitoring of data, performance and functionality)

Individual product team QAs (Delivers test script and testing activity within each product team)

Creating a test strategy suitable for agile working practices across 4 interconnected product teams all working on different SAAS products that combine to provide an end-to-end experience for our marketing partners and Client's customers.

Creating the high-level test plan for each major combined release. This has to ensure that each element of the end-to-end experience is well tested and that the touchpoints/handovers between teams are appropriate and robust.

Oversee the delivery of the testing across all teams. Establish working practices, performance metrics and work with other leaders to ensure that our QA practice delivers exceptional work.

(Testing Standards And Strategies) As Marketing CRM QA lead, you will define the testing strategy to ensure Product releases are up to industry standards and aligned with Client C4 standards. You will create high level E2E testing plans and ensure that teams meet commitments set forth in those plans. Some examples of the activities that you need to put in place:

You will work with teams to create a strategy (including Test automation) of what needs testing at team level and what work crosses boundaries and may require coordinated E2E testing. This should include what testing infrastructure should be use in each case.

You will review and adapt the test practices, methods, tools and infrastructure that will deliver long term success on our chosen SAAS products. These will need to align to existing C4 standards or leverage the SAAS product's own testing capabilities. You will design how we maximize efficiency and scalability by exploring all automation options. From UI testing to API testing. Leverage Visual Testing (for regression activities, etc).

You will work with our MarTech Platform DevOps Lead to establish a scalable and sustainable strategy for monitoring and maintenance in production.

Focus should be on maintainability and re-use of tests by leveraging automation frameworks, inclusion of tests in the continuous delivery process, and building reliable monitoring and metrics into the process that can be leveraged throughout the life of the system.

(Manage Risks) You will identify risk and create plans to mitigate it. You will work with all our QA engineers to do the same. You will establish a common practice for how risks are documented as part of test plans and managed by the product teams.

(Improve Processes) You will be involved in every stage of product development. You should be on the lookout for ways to improve the current processes to make them more efficient. When problems are identified, you will communicate new ideas to the different teams involved in the project, including Developers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners and other stakeholders.

Having access to all the Retrospective Reports or actions from those retros where team suggest improvements or participate helping them with those improvements.

Creating a User Story checklist for Definition of Ready to identify dependencies and mitigate the risk of implementing something that is not clear to the team.

Coach teams to define, understand and adhere to User Story Definition of Done, Sprint Definition of Done, Release Definition of Done. Help drive process adoption across the team.

Release Management. The QA Lead has to define what Quality requirements need to be met before a Release can be made (to Production or even between stages)

(Metrics And Reporting's)You will be responsible for the QA reporting framework, using test management reporting tools, to work with product teams to deliver updates as a matter of course. Progress, plans, and problems need to be visible to development teams and management so that feedback loops are short and problems can be addressed in as short a turnaround as possible.



What You Bring



10+ years' experience in DevOps and Test Engineering /Software QA with a digital technology company

Senior level of Quality Engineer knowledge:

functional, regression, risk-based, integration, system, UI, reliability, scalability, load, performance, cross browser/platform testing - strategy and execution with a focus on test automation. The candidate is expected to have a hands-on approach to product testing, with good automation experience (Java, Javascript, or Python automation frameworks) and in-depth knowledge of test automation tools.

A strong understanding of DevOps concepts including continuous integration and deployment, creation of feedback loops through monitoring, and how testing plays a role in these concepts.

A proven track record delivering high quality products following Agile (SCRUM, SAFE preferable) development and testing methodologies, with a variety of deployment environments and tools.

Proven experience defining a test strategy at the ART Level and managing (and coaching) QAs across product scrum teams to deliver against that strategy.

A data driven approach to analysing progress and trends to reduce risk and improve quality.

Excellent knowledge and practical experience of testing across team and product boundaries whilst keeping all teams loosely coupled and moving independently

The ability to use real data and metrics to inform the development planning process, make and gain support for critical release decisions and to implement changes that support a quality first process.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Used to operating in a senior leadership forums and pushing your agenda in a collaborative manner.

Excellent experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud and applicable testing and monitoring strategies

Excellent experience with testing applications built on AWS services, including ECS,RDS, EventBridge, Lambda, S3

Excellent knowledge of test automation and test management suites

Excellent knowledge of automated API testing, data integrity tests, performance tests

Good knowledge of OneTrust, Okta a bonus
