Key Responsibilities
Lead the QA strategy, planning, execution, and delivery of web and PWA applications
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product owners to understand requirements and define comprehensive test strategies
Design and review test cases for functional, regression, integration, and UI testing
Ensure coverage of domain-specific scenarios related to
consumer
warranty insurance,
policy administration, claims, underwriting, billing, and customer portals
Coordinate test planning, execution, defect tracking, and closure
Manage a team of QA engineers, ensuring proper task allocation, support, and mentoring
Provide QA status updates, metrics, and quality indicators during sprint reviews and release planning
Work closely with developers to perform root cause analysis and resolve issues
Contribute to the test automation strategy and review automation coverage for regression cycles
Ensure testing aligns with compliance and data privacy requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
6-10 years of QA experience with at least 2+ years in a
QA Lead role
Strong experience in
Web and PWA application testing
Good understanding of
Property & Casualty insurance workflows
(e.g.,
consumer
warranty insurance,
policy lifecycle, claims, billing)
Have experience in multiple device and browser testing.
Proficient in writing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements
Experience with
test management tools
like Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar
Solid experience in defect tracking, root cause analysis, and test closure reporting
Familiarity with
Agile/Scrum
and participation in sprint ceremonies
Basic understanding of front-end technologies for effective collaboration (HTML, CSS, browser dev tools)
Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus
Exposure to
AI-powered QA tools
(e.g., Testim, AccelQ, Tricentis Tosca with AI features, etc.) is a plus
Good understanding of
