Position description:

The person appointed will be responsible for leading DevOps initiatives, driving CI/CD adoption, and building scalable test automation frameworks. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient delivery pipelines, robust automation coverage, and high-quality software releases across multiple environments. The candidate will also mentor junior engineers, define best practices, and align automation/DevOps strategies with organizational goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple platforms and environments. Lead the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks for web, mobile, API, and backend services. Drive infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of testing and deployment. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to support production systems. Ensure security best practices are embedded into pipelines and automation processes. Guide and mentor junior engineers on DevOps practices, test automation strategies, and troubleshooting. Define KPIs for automation coverage, pipeline efficiency, and release quality. Stay updated with emerging DevOps, cloud, and automation tools, evaluating their fit for the organization.
