Job Title: QA Lead

We are seeking an experienced

QA Lead

with strong hands-on expertise in automation testing, Java development, and leading QA teams. The candidate will drive automation strategy across web, mobile, and API layers, ensuring high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of 4 QA professionals, overseeing end-to-end testing activities. Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using

Java, Selenium, Appium, Cucumber BDD, TestNG, Gradle, Jenkins

. Contribute to

framework development/customization

to meet evolving project needs. Perform

API automation and functional testing

using

Rest-Assured

and

Postman

(Collections, Scripts, Environment Variables, Newman, etc.). Conduct

test planning & estimation

using TCP methodology. Maintain documentation, test cases, and execution details in

JIRA

. Review test cases, perform

RCA for production defects

, and carry out failure analysis for mobile automation. Provide daily status reports and

Go/No-Go decisions

for production releases. Participate in Agile ceremonies--Scrum calls, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years

of hands-on QA experience with automation and team leadership. Strong coding skills in

Java (above Java 8)

and Core Java fundamentals. Expertise in

UI automation

(Selenium) and

mobile automation

(Appium).

Strong API testing experience using Postman

(must-have) and Rest-Assured. Strong SQL knowledge and experience working with multiple databases. Practical experience with

BDD frameworks

(Cucumber/Gherkin). Experience with Agile, DevOps, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and willingness to learn.
