Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated QA Lead with strong expertise in functional and application-level software testing to join a dynamic and highly talented engineering team. This role will be instrumental in building next-generation automation products and services from the ground up.

As a QA Lead, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, influence quality strategy, and help ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions while wearing multiple hats as needed.
Role Overview:
The QA Lead will be responsible for driving quality engineering efforts across the product lifecycle, defining testing strategies, and leading both manual and automated testing initiatives. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders in an Agile environment.
You will guide the team in adopting best practices in functional and non-functional testing, behavior-driven development (BDD), and test automation while ensuring quality standards are met across frontend, backend, and microservices-based applications.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and own the overall QA strategy, ensuring high-quality delivery across all phases of development.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test strategies for functional and non-functional testing.
• Drive behavior-driven development (BDD) practices using tools such as Cucumber for both UI and backend automation.
• Implement and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, JavaScript, and related technologies.
• Perform and oversee testing at multiple levels, including UI, API, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Conduct performance, load, and stress testing using tools such as JMeter and analyze results to identify bottlenecks.
• Ensure quality coverage for applications built on Java, Node.js, and microservices architectures.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams in an Agile environment to identify risks, improve testability, and enhance overall product quality.
• Mentor and guide QA engineers, promoting best practices, continuous improvement, and a strong quality culture.
• Leverage AWS exposure to support testing strategies in cloud-based environments.
• Communicate test results, quality metrics, and risks clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Participate in OP monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
• Contribute to OP technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
• Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
• Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
