Description Key duties and responsibilities

• Good all-round IT Quality Assurance background.
• Manage a process for high volume environment changes in a Citrix/Xenapp environment hosted in Azure Cloud Develop Test Plans that will take the project team through an end-to-end journey to prove successful deployment and implementation.
• To report the evidence by working closely with IT, Quality Assurance, Business Operations, and Project teams to prioritize and schedule fixes and releases into the production environment to ensure that there are no interruptions to BAU work with the technical and business teams to determine the required test scope and methodology that will assure that business operations are not impacted by the platform change.
• Validating that the Change Management and QA processes have been followed and the sign off and audit procedures have been followed.
• Become the gatekeeper, scheduler and approver of deployments to the Production environment.
• Enforcer of the Quality Release Management Process with all internal and external teams and vendors.
• Gather metrics on successful vs not successful changes.
• Carry out validation tests where possible and applicable.

• 
  3-5 years Software QA experience.
• A confident self-starter with can do and will do attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong ability to negotiate at all levels.
• Good all-round IT Quality Assurance and control background from preferably a number of industries / domains.
• Understanding of Citrix Cloud infrastructure, including Application Layering.
• Good understanding of cloud (Azure) technologies, infrastructure, networks, firewalls etc.
• Good knowledge of Jira or similar issue management tools.
• ISTQB and ITIL Certification (Foundation Level - Service Management).
• Have the ability to ensure that internal and external teams adhere to quality guidelines.

  Worked in IT in a Financial Services organization.
• Reasonable understanding of infrastructure, application architecture, networking and Active Directory.
