This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a QA Engineer in India.
We are seeking a QA Engineer to join a high-performance, feature-driven team responsible for ensuring the quality of enterprise-level ecommerce solutions. In this role, you will analyze requirements, create and execute test cases, and identify issues to guarantee a seamless user experience. You will collaborate closely with project teams, participate in daily standups, and contribute to process improvements. Accountabilities

• Analyze business requirements and create detailed test cases to ensure software quality.
• Execute functional, integration, and regression testing, reporting and verifying defects as needed.
• Collaborate with project teams during daily meetings and brainstorming sessions to ensure alignment on QA efforts.
• Provide updates on task estimates and progress to the QA Lead or Project Manager.
• Suggest improvements to QA procedures, systems, and tools for enhanced testing efficiency.
• Estimate time and resources for individual tasks and specific feature testing.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within the QA team.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing, preferably in web or ecommerce solutions.
• Strong theoretical understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Experience analyzing requirements, creating and executing test cases, and reporting results.
• Proficiency with bug tracking systems and defect reporting processes.
• Intermediate written and spoken English.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with 3rd party integrations and estimating testing tasks.
• Team-oriented, collaborative, and proactive in identifying issues and solutions.

Good to Have:

• Hands-on experience testing web-based or ecommerce applications.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, and web technologies.
• Experience with performance, load, and security testing.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Postman, jMeter, SoapUI, PICT, Filezilla, or xMind.
• Experience in geographically distributed teams and tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of groovy scripting and service testing.
