Position Overview:

As a QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software

applications. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and

working closely with the development team to resolve issues. Your expertise in Jira and AWS will be

instrumental in managing the testing process effectively.

Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements. Execute and manage testing activities, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Utilize Jira to create, track, and prioritize defects, as well as to manage test cases and test execution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to ensure high-quality software delivery. Identify, document, and track software defects, and work closely with the development team to investigate and resolve issues. Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance product quality. Perform system integration testing with AWS services and validate the functionality, performance, and security aspects. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in QA and software testing. Provide regular reports on testing progress, test coverage, and defect metrics to stakeholders. Actively participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, providing input on testing efforts and ensuring alignment with project timelines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. Proficiency in using Jira for test management and defect tracking. Experience with AWS services is preferred Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber) is a plus. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
