About Us:

Norq Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is a fast-growing technology company building next-generation IoT, telematics, and digital platforms. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Analyst with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in testing web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of automation frameworks, testing best practices, and continuous integration workflows.

Candidates with prior experience in Fleet Telematics, IoT-based solutions, or vehicle tracking platforms will be given strong preference, as this role involves testing complex real-time data environments involving sensors, GPS tracking, and analytics dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

Execute test cases (manual and automated) for web, mobile, and API layers.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and data engineers to understand system requirements and identify test scenarios.

Validate data flow and accuracy across telematics modules -- GPS data, vehicle parameters, trip summaries, fuel tracking, and alerts.

Identify, log, and track defects through tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla, and verify fixes through regression testing.

Perform API testing (REST/JSON) using Postman or RestAssured.

Conduct cross-browser, cross-device, and real-time data validation testing for telematics dashboards

Participate in test planning, estimation, reviews, and reporting activities.

Continuously enhance automation frameworks and testing coverage to improve product quality and release efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Automation Tools: Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium

Programming Languages: Java, Python, or JavaScript (proficiency in at least one is mandatory)

API Testing: Postman, RestAssured

Test Frameworks: TestNG, PyTest, JUnit, Mocha, or equivalent

Version Control: Git / Bitbucket

Database Testing: SQL (for validating telematics and transactional data)

Defect Tracking: Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, LambdaTest) will be an added advantage.

Domain Preference

Prior experience testing Fleet Management Systems, IoT/Telematics platforms, or vehicle tracking software is highly preferred.

Understanding of GPS data parsing, sensor data validation, and real-time event monitoring is a significant plus.

Candidates with hands-on experience testing real-time tracking dashboards, vehicle telemetry, or IoT sensor data will be prioritized.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Behave. Exposure to Performance and Load Testing (e.g., JMeter, Locust). Understanding of Agile/Scrum and DevOps workflows.

Excellent analytical, debugging, and documentation skills. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Effective communicator who can work collaboratively with development and product teams. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. ISTQB or equivalent testing certification preferred.
