Job brief:

We are looking for a

Senior QA Engineer

with 4-6 years of experience to lead and execute high-quality testing efforts across our software products. You will be responsible for defining testing strategies, mentoring junior QA team members, and ensuring the delivery of robust, bug-free applications.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead the

design, development, and execution of test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts

. Conduct

functional, regression, integration, and performance testing

across multiple platforms. Collaborate with

development, product, and business teams

to understand requirements and identify potential risks early. Identify, document, and track defects using

Jira, Bugzilla, or similar tools

. Implement and maintain

automation frameworks

to improve efficiency and coverage. Mentor and guide

junior QA engineers

, providing technical and process support. Continuously improve QA processes and contribute to the

overall quality strategy

.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4-6 years of experience in

manual and automated testing

for web and mobile applications. Strong understanding of

SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies

, and QA best practices. Hands-on experience with

automation tools

like Selenium, Playwright, or similar. Experience with

API testing tools

such as Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent. Experience of non-functional testing such as performance testing, security testing is a plus. Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript) is a plus. Excellent

analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

. Proven ability to

lead QA efforts

and mentor team members.
