About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented

Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

with strong expertise in

Manual Testing

and working knowledge of

Automation Testing

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, identifying bugs, and collaborating closely with developers and product teams to deliver high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

Design, document, and execute

test plans

,

test cases

, and

test scenarios

for web and mobile applications. Perform

manual testing

across various platforms and environments to ensure product functionality, usability, and performance. Identify, log, and track

defects/bugs

using tools such as

JIRA

,

Bugzilla

, or similar defect management systems. Perform

regression, functional, integration, smoke, and UAT testing

. Collaborate with developers and business teams to understand requirements and validate deliverables. Participate in

test case reviews

and maintain comprehensive test documentation. Work with automation frameworks (like

Selenium / TestNG / Cypress / Postman

) for smoke and regression test coverage. Support

CI/CD pipeline testing

and assist in maintaining automation scripts. Conduct

API testing

using tools such as

Postman

or

Swagger

. Ensure that testing activities are completed on time and meet the quality objectives.

Required Skills

Strong experience in

Manual Testing

of web and/or mobile applications. Good understanding of

STLC, SDLC

, and

Defect Life Cycle

. Hands-on experience with test case design techniques. Knowledge of

Automation Testing

using

Selenium (Java/Python)

or equivalent tools. Experience in

API testing

(Postman / Rest Assured preferred). Working knowledge of SQL for data validation. Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

Experience with

CI/CD tools

(Jenkins, GitLab CI). Knowledge of

Performance Testing

tools (JMeter / LoadRunner). Exposure to

version control systems

(Git, Bitbucket). Basic scripting or coding ability (Java, Python, or JavaScript). Experience with

Test Management tools

(Zephyr, TestRail, etc.).

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Software Testing certification (e.g., ISTQB) is an added advantage.
