Job Description

vConstruct

a Pune-based Construction Technology company, is looking for a talented and detail-driven

QA Engineer

with 2-3 years of experience in both

manual and automation testing

. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation frameworks using

Playwright with TypeScript

or

Selenium with Java

, along with strong skills in

API testing

. You'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and stability of our software applications across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases. Design and implement test scripts using

Playwright (TypeScript)

or

Selenium (Java)

. Perform thorough regression and functional testing of web applications. Test APIs using tools like

Postman

,

Rest Assured

, or similar. Identify, document, and track bugs in a clear and concise manner. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members in an Agile environment. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives. Continuously improve testing processes, coverage, and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

2-3 years of experience

in QA (manual and automation). Strong knowledge of

Playwright with TypeScript

or

Selenium with Java

. Solid experience in

API testing

(manual and automated). Familiarity with test management tools like

JIRA

,

TestRail

, or similar. Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. Experience in writing test plans, test scenarios, and test cases. Good debugging and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

Experience with

CI/CD tools

(e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Exposure to

BDD frameworks

like Cucumber. Familiarity with performance testing tools like

JMeter

. Knowledge of databases and ability to write basic SQL queries. Experience with version control systems like

Git

.
