About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented

QA Engineer

with hands-on experience in both

manual and automation testing

to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to design and execute test strategies across web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute

manual test cases

for new features and regression testing. Develop and maintain

automated test scripts

using tools such as

Selenium, TestNG, or Cypress

(or other equivalent frameworks). Perform

functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, API, and performance testing

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and track software defects. Participate in

requirement analysis and sprint planning

to ensure test coverage. Maintain

test documentation

, including test cases, test reports, and defect logs. Contribute to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines by integrating automated tests. Support

root cause analysis

and provide insights for improving product quality and QA processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2-4 years

of experience in

manual and automation testing

in a product-based or IT software environment. Proficiency with automation tools such as

Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright

. Experience in API testing using

Postman, Rest Assured

, or similar tools. Strong understanding of

SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies

. Familiarity with

version control systems (Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket)

. Basic understanding of

SQL

for database validation. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have:

Experience with

CI/CD tools

like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Exposure to

performance testing tools

(e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). Knowledge of

BDD frameworks

like Cucumber or Behave. Understanding of

cloud environments (AWS / Azure)

and testing on virtual setups.
