Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Tester will execute and evaluate software tests, architecture, and security for the Landmark Drilling suite of applications. The role requires strong domain knowledge in Oil & Gas (Upstream), QA concepts, and hands-on testing skills.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent (Minimum GPA: 7.5+). Minimum

2 years of QA experience

(Oil & Gas Upstream apps preferred). Good understanding of upstream applications (Preferred:

EDT Applications

). Knowledge of wells engineering concepts: Well construction: drilling techniques, well control, fluids property management, drilling mechanics, performance monitoring. Well completions: completion designs, well performance analysis. Experience using engineering applications like

WellCat, Wellplan, Compass

(added advantage). Basic understanding of test automation framework creation (any tool). Experience with

SDLC/STLC

and testing types such as: Smoke, Functional, Integration, Performance, Regression, UAT.

ISTQB Foundation

certification (optional). Strong experience with Test Case creation, Defect & Test Management tools:

Azure DevOps/TFS, JIRA

. Comfortable working in Agile methodology. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

Provide engineering support in drilling and completions to the DWP team. Provide unbiased assessments of product quality. Actively participate as a Software Tester to deliver product stories. Develop detailed Test Cases based on Test Objectives and Acceptance Criteria. Write comprehensive Test Cases to validate product functionality. Participate in Sprint Planning and communicate testing considerations. Work with SMEs to identify and define key end-user workflows. Define, create, and maintain Test Environments. Validate functionality based on requirements/stories. Ensure development changes do not impact other functionalities. Identify, document, and communicate bugs clearly and consistently. Track bugs through resolution and verify fixes as per bug definitions.

Pay: ?381,423.55 - ?1,505,916.29 per year
