Job Description

Manual & Automation Testing

Design, create, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Execute and maintain automation test scripts for web, mobile, and API-based applications. Ensure end-to-end test coverage across multiple platforms, browsers, and devices.

AI-Assisted QA Activities

Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, test case generators, AI-based test management tools) to: Generate and optimize test cases Assist in test data creation Improve documentation and reporting Reduce effort on repetitive QA tasks Continuously explore AI-driven approaches to improve testing efficiency and accuracy.

Defect Management

Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect-tracking tools. Collaborate with developers to analyze root causes and verify fixes. Ensure timely resolution and regression validation of reported issues.

Collaboration & Agile Participation

Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure clarity and testability of requirements. Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, automation scripts, and defect reports. Prepare test execution summaries, quality metrics, and status reports for stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

2-3 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance, covering both manual and basic knowledge in automation testing.

Technical & Testing Skills

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices. Experience testing web, mobile, and API-based applications. Familiarity with AI tools for QA productivity and test optimization.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to performance, security, or accessibility testing. ISTQB or equivalent QA certification will be plus. Interest in learning and adopting AI-driven QA and test automation practice will be plus.
