QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Understanding Project Requirements - Analyze and understand project workflows, tasks, and objectives. Task Execution & Tracking - Ability to track and execute assigned tasks efficiently. Communication & Updates - Stay updated through project communication channels (Slack, Jira, Email, etc.). Basic Technical Knowledge - Understanding of Frontend (FE), Backend (BE), and Databases. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills - Strong attention to detail for identifying and resolving issues. Design and develop automated test scripts for web, API, or mobile applications. Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve test failures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field. Manual testing of web, mobile, or desktop applications. Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile methodologies. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Execute test cases manually to identify bugs and ensure quality. Knowledge with test management tools and bug tracking tools. Ability to perform different testing types. (Functional and Non-Functional). Experience with test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright). Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing automation scripts. Experience with version control systems like Git. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
