Job Description

Job Summary Analyze less complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Assist in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Execute unit, integration and acceptance testing and assists in creating specifications for systems to meet business requirements.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance)

Create and present the project highlights to the QA team and other stakeholders

Create, Maintain, manage and enforce Test plan
Participating and contributing to test scenario creation.

Good Experience in creating Test Review checklist
Perform the review and present results to the Project manager
Basic Sanity and smoke test and determine- are we ready we test?

Good Experience Set test execution guidelines after seeking the team\xe2\x80\x99s inputs
Work on test execution
Help new testers with catching on with the current application
Report defects
Review the defects reported by the team members to make sure that they are valid, not duplicates and complete in the description
Escalate any showstoppers and make decisions on how to proceed in such situations

Good Experience -Evaluating the exit criteria for when to stop testing
Share the results of the exit criteria evaluation
If the exit criteria is all satisfied, make the test closure report and send it to the stake holders providing the official QA sign off, include a list of known issues
Collect details about the overall project- its successes, areas of improvement, lessons learnt, best practices implemented, etc and present them in the project retrospection meeting or document.

Notify the BA and/or dev team that the test documentation (test cases) is ready for review and send the work product

Works with respective team members and/or management to deliver solutions according to requirements defined and prioritized by VWR\xe2\x80\x99s business.

As needed and according to agile development methodologies, participate in iterative development including sprint planning, daily scrum, release, and retrospective meetings.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Document all system changes in line with the standard processes. Conduct system testing of configuration changes and drive integration /regression testing.
Collaborate with Business leadership Team colleagues on best practice solutions

Collaborate with all other Infrastructure & Operations Support Teams to ensure high systems availability, capacity and expected levels of performance.

Create high quality Testing methodologies will ensure quality product.

Ensure automation regression suite build to reduce Functional efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience and/or certificates.

Minimum 5 to 7 years of extensive QA role developed and execute exploratory as well as automated tests in order to ensure software product quality.

SAP C4C Transformation-

Good Experience \xe2\x80\x93 STLC process & involved QA Estimation process.

Minimum 2 years of experience in an agile development environment

Experience required in any one Relational Database Management System (RDBMS)

Able to comprehend business needs and concerns and integrate that understanding into design and implementation.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)

Experience in QA Test Case design, Participate in QA Estimation task.

Background in SAP module testing (SD,MM, etc.)

Exposure to SAP Commerce Cloud testing.

Experience in mobile testing.

Experience with API / UI Testing.

Experience working in an agile development process

Specialize in any Automation tool, ALM technology.

Support business requests ensuring that the organization adopts common approaches in areas where a global perspective and the sharing of integrated systems.

Work flexibly to successfully handle multiple issues and tasks, completing them on time and within budget while exceeding expectations.

Ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude.

Technical Skillset:

• ALM, JIRA, UFT
• Browserstack or equivalent
• Oracle, Postgres, SQL or any other
• SOAP UI, REST, or similar
• SAP (OTC, PTP, FIN, etc\xe2\x80\xa6)

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under Typical Positions)
Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level.
Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems.
A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on routine basis.
Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs.
