Responsibilities: Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback proactively. Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities across different platforms in the product. Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs till completion. Design, develop and execute automation scripts using keyword driven open source tools. Take ownership of the Product s Testing effort End to End and strive to keep the platform bug-free. Take ownership of Engg Product Success metrics and work alongside Product and Engineering teams for improvements ;also track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts. Work alongside Operations and Customer support teams to understand and take ownership of fixing User facing issues. Requirements: Proven 2-4 years of work experience in software quality assurance in a product based software development Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes. Working knowledge of JIRA is a must. Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing. Hands-on experience with keyword driven automated testing tools. Proficiency in either JAVA or Python is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with performance and security testing. Solid knowledge of Database testing , SQL and scripting. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject. Understanding of CI/CD setup including Automation trigger remotely , AWS tools and Redis is desirable.
