QA Engineer- Automation Testing - 3+ years, Chandigarh

We are currently seeking a talented and ambitious carrying a strong exposure in automation testing. A perfect fit role for an individual holding an experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, Technical Tester, or Software Engineer in Test, in the financial industry (essential) or within fiduciary/asset management.

Location- Chandigarh (Hybrid)

Responsibilities-

• Developing, executing and overseeing comprehensive test plans/ cases and strategies
• Establishing testing risks and priorities, so that critical functionality is identified and tested first
• Executing manual and automated tests to validate software functionality, data accuracy, and performance.
• Performing regression testing to ensure new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
• Implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing and deployment
• Working with developers to identify and implement robust unit test coverage
• Validating the accuracy and integrity of financial data processed by the asset management software.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in computer science, Engineering, Finance or a related field or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• Strong knowledge of Test and delivery practices and lifecycle
• Experience working in a hybrid, globally diverse environment (we have colleagues based in the UK, the Netherlands, Spain, and India) (essential)
• Strong expertise designing and delivering test or process automation solutions, utilising different tools or languages e.g. Selenium, Cucumber, or similar (essential)
• Extensive experience using Test Management and Defect Management tools. Ideally JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr (essential)
