We are seeking a detail-oriented

QA Analyst

to ensure the

quality, accuracy, and reliability

of the

SAP B2B to Optimizely Commerce Cloud migration

. This role involves

manual testing, validating functional workflows, data integrity, and user experience

across platforms. The QA Analyst will collaborate with

developers and business teams

to identify and resolve defects, while contributing to

test planning, execution, and reporting

within an

Agile environment

Responsibilities include:

Execute functional testing for Optimizely workflows (catalog, pricing, inventory, checkout). Validate UI across browsers and devices for consistency and accessibility. Perform data migration testing to ensure accuracy and completeness between SAP ECC and Optimizely. Use SQL/Excel for backend data validation and business logic verification. Log and track defects using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or TestRail. Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues and clarify requirements. Prepare test plans, traceability matrices, and summary reports. Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues.
Primary Skills :

Functional Testing

Writing and executing manual test cases for Optimizely workflows (e.g., product catalog, pricing, inventory, checkout). Performing UI validation across browsers and devices. Logging and tracking defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or TestRail. Understanding Optimizely CMS/Commerce basics to validate content and commerce flows.

Data Migration Testing

Validating data accuracy, completeness, and consistency between SAP ECC and Optimizely. Familiarity with SAP ECC data models (e.g., MARA, KNA1, VBAK). Using SQL or Excel for backend data comparison and validation. Executing sample record checks and verifying business logic post-migration.

QA Fundamentals

Strong grasp of test planning, test execution, and regression testing. Ability to create traceability matrices and test summary reports. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Exploratory Testing: Identifying edge cases and usability issues.
Secondary Skills :

Technical & Automation Awareness

Basic SQL: For data validation and backend checks. Basic understanding of API testing using Postman or Swagger. Exposure to test automation tools like Selenium or Playwright (even if not hands-on). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and how QA fits into release cycles.

SAP ECC Insights

Ability to interpret ABAP logic or collaborate with SAP developers for test data setup. Understanding of IDocs, BAPIs, or RFCs used in data extraction.

Optimizely Platform Knowledge

Awareness of Optimizely personalization, content blocks, and catalog structures. Understanding of customer journeys and how migrated data impacts user experience.
Soft Skills :

Strong communication and documentation abilities. Analytical thinking to identify edge cases and potential data issues. Proactive collaboration with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
