Job Title: QA - Boomi EDI Tester
Location: Remote
Duration: Full time
Night Shift is mandatory
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Boomi EDI QA Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of EDI integrations developed on the Dell Boomi platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing EDI transactions, integration flows, and data mapping between internal and external systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Validate and test EDI integrations developed using Dell Boomi.
• Perform end-to-end testing of EDI transactions (e.g., 850, 855, 856, 810, 997, etc.).
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand business rules and data transformation logic.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for EDI and integration processes.
• Verify data mapping between source and target systems and ensure data accuracy.
• Conduct regression, functional, and integration testing for new and existing Boomi processes.
• Work closely with trading partners, internal teams, and other stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues.
• Document defects, perform root cause analysis, and support the defect resolution cycle.
• Participate in UAT and ensure timely delivery of high-quality integrations.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 2-3 years of experience in QA, with at least 2+ years in EDI and Boomi integration testing.
• Strong knowledge of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, etc.) and transaction sets.
• Experience with Dell Boomi AtomSphere and understanding of integration flows.
• Familiarity with data formats like XML, JSON, CSV, Flat Files, etc.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail).
• Knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Understanding of supply chain, order management, or logistics processes is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or SOAP UI.
• Familiarity with Boomi EDI components such as Trading Partner Management (TPM).
• Exposure to automation frameworks or scripting is an advantage.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
