Job Description

Role Overview:-

We're hiring a hands-on QA & Azure Deployment Engineer who understands web-based SaaS QA processes and has basic to intermediate experience with Azure cloud environments. You'll assist both the testing and deployment side -- ensuring smooth releases, performing sanity checks, and helping the team push updates with confidence.

Key Responsibilities:-


QA / Testing

Create and execute test cases for frontend (React) and backend (Node.js APIs)

Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing on dev/staging

Use Postman for API validation and test scripting

Report bugs clearly via ClickUp/Jira with screenshots and logs

Ensure database values (MongoDB) are inserted/updated correctly

Maintain basic automation flows using Cypress or Playwright (optional)

Azure Deployment Support

Assist in deploying builds to Azure App Services / Azure VMs

Manage environment variables, web app settings, and resource groups

Validate post-deployment behavior (smoke testing, logging, debugging)

Coordinate release tagging and GitHub Actions pipeline runs

Monitor application logs (App Insights, Log Analytics)

Collaborate with developers on rollback/redeployment if needed

Must-Have Skills:-

2+ years in a QA, DevOps support, or deployment-focused role

Working knowledge of Azure Portal (App Services, Resource Groups, Logs)

Experience testing REST APIs (Postman or Insomnia)

Familiar with Git, GitHub workflows, and basic CI/CD pipeline usage

Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

Comfortable working in fast-paced release cycles

Good to Have:-

Exposure to Node.js and React environments

Hands-on with automation tools like Cypress / Playwright

Knowledge of Azure CLI or ARM templates

Understanding of DNS, SSL, and staging/live environment differences

Experience monitoring apps using Sentry, App Insights, or LogRocket

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 20 - 24 per week
