FunctionDigital & Information TechnologiesPay BandE4 to M2RoleAs a ' IOS native tester' you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our iOS applications through rigorous testing of individual units and components. Your expertise in iOS app testing and attention to detail will play a vital role in delivering high-quality software to our users.A purpose driven role for youIn this role you'll experience the responsibility around ensuring the quality and reliability of our iOS applications through rigorous testing of individual units and components.A Day in the lifeThe day with responsibility look like- Collaborate with the development team to understand the functionality and requirements of the iOS app.-Design and execute comprehensive unit test cases to verify the behavior of individual code units and components within the iOS app.-Identify, isolate, and report bugs and defects, providing clear and concise steps for reproduction.-Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve identified issues.-Develop and maintain test automation scripts to streamline the testing process and ensure consistent test coverage.-Perform regression testing to ensure previously identified issues have been successfully addressed.-Participate in code reviews to provide feedback on code quality and testability improvements.-Stay updated with the latest iOS app testing methodologies and industry best practices.-Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and actively participate in discussions on testing strategies.-Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to maintain a high standard of software quality throughout the development lifecycle.-Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in iOS app testing and make recommendations for process improvements.Academic Qualification & Experience- BE/ B.Tech- IT/CS or a related field- 3-7 years of experience in Automotive Domain.Technical Skills/Knowledge- Proven experience in unit testing iOS apps using testing frameworks such as XCTest and XCUITest .-Strong understanding of the iOS app development lifecycle and the significance of unit testing in the software development process.-Familiarity with version control systems like Git.-Ability to write clear and concise test cases and bug reports.-Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as XCTest and XCUITest, is highly desirable.-Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes is a plus.-Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to work effectively with cross-functional teams.-Detail-oriented and capable of analyzing complex systems to ensure thorough testing.-Familiarity with agile development methodologies.Behavioural Skills- Strategic Thinker: Ability to translate details into bigger picture implications driving the business forward, challenging the status quo.
