About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented

QA Automation Test Engineer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure software quality and performance. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain

automated test scripts

for web and API testing. Perform

functional, regression, integration, and performance testing

. Identify, document, and track defects using

JIRA

or similar defect management tools. Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Participate in

Agile ceremonies

(daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives). Create and maintain

test plans, test cases, and test data

. Integrate automation tests with

CI/CD pipelines

(Jenkins, GitLab, etc.). Conduct

cross-browser and cross-platform testing

. Ensure comprehensive test coverage and continuous improvement of testing practices.

Technical Skills Required

Automation Tools:

Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or TestNG.

Programming Languages:

Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C#.

API Testing:

Postman, Newman, REST Assured.

Performance Testing:

JMeter or k6 (added advantage).

Test Management:

JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail, or Xray.

CI/CD Tools:

Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

Version Control:

Git / Bitbucket.

Frameworks:

POM, BDD (Cucumber), Data-driven testing.

Database Testing:

SQL / MongoDB queries.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 4 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in software test automation. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Experience working in

Agile/Scrum

methodology. Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Pay: ₹361,571.94 - ₹900,000.00 per year

Experience:

Test automation: 4 years (Preferred) Playwright: 2 years (Preferred)
