Role Overview

We are looking for a

QA Engineer (Automation)

to join the

product team

-- responsible for ensuring quality, stability, and performance across ZenV's AI-first SaaS ecosystem. This role is ideal for a hands-on automation engineer passionate about building reliable testing frameworks, driving quality across the stack, and collaborating closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver world-class software experiences. You'll play a key role in building automation pipelines, executing test strategies, and embedding continuous testing into every release cycle.

Key ResponsibilitiesAutomation Framework & Development

Design, develop, and maintain

scalable automation frameworks

using

Playwright

or

Selenium WebDriver

. Write automated test scripts using

Java

or

Python

for UI, API, and backend systems. Implement and manage

test suites

using frameworks like

JUnit

or

TestNG

. Integrate test automation into

CI/CD pipelines

(Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Perform

cross-browser

and

cross-platform

validation using Playwright.

Testing & Quality Assurance

Conduct

API testing

using

Postman

,

REST Assured

, or equivalent tools. Validate backend workflows and perform

database testing

using

PostgreSQL

and SQL queries. Execute

regression

,

smoke

, and

functional testing

for web applications. Ensure end-to-end test coverage for

React + Spring Boot + PostgreSQL

systems. Track and report defects using

Jira

or similar tools; conduct

root-cause analysis

and ensure timely resolution.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

Work closely with

developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers

to embed testing in early development stages. Advocate for

shift-left testing

,

continuous integration

, and

quality-first delivery.

Contribute to

test planning, estimation, and documentation

across sprints. Participate in agile ceremonies, ensuring clear visibility into test progress and coverage.

Required Skills & Experience

4-8 years

of experience in QA Automation or Software Testing roles. Proficiency in:

Automation Tools:

Playwright, Selenium WebDriver.

Languages:

Java or Python (for test automation).

Frameworks:

JUnit, TestNG.

API Testing:

Postman, REST Assured.

Database:

PostgreSQL, SQL scripting.

CI/CD:

Jenkins, GitHub Actions.

Version Control:

Git, branching, and merge workflows. Experience testing web-based, multi-tier applications. Strong understanding of agile testing methodologies and SDLC. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience

Testing full-stack applications built with

React + Spring Boot + PostgreSQL.

Exposure to

microservices testing

, environment validation, and containerized deployments. Familiarity with

performance testing tools

such as

JMeter

or

Locust.

Experience working on

SaaS

,

EdTech

, or

multi-tenant platforms.

Prior exposure to
