BUK & BX - All locations We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. Introduction: This role requires the candidate to possess exceptional test automation skills & test management skills. The person must possess good communication & interpersonal skills. The person should be a strong team player with skills to work in onshore-offshore model. The candidate will be responsible for development and maintenance of UI Test automation & API Test Automation suites for the allocated projects. The candidate will be responsible to work very closely with other technology team members including BTB and RTB, Business Analysts. The chosen candidate will work with our stakeholders to gather testing requirements and help us deliver quality product to our global user base. What will you be doing . Identifying and develop test cases providing full coverage of test-scenarios. . Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and BAs) to identify system requirements. . Create and maintain test plans, cases, scenarios/scripts, in compliance with defined QA standards and methodologies. . Identify necessary test data to support test conditions and test cases. . Configure testing environments for executing test cases and scenarios. . Control and monitor testing progress, defect tracking and maintaining appropriate metrics. . Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. . Take part in brainstorming sessions, to come up with new ideas and designs that improve existing features. . Design, develop and execute automation scripts. What we\'re looking for: . Bachelors/master\'s degree . Should have worked minimum 5+ years in ETL/Data Warehousing/Data Lake projects . Strong SQL, UNIX, Shell scripting skills . Extensive experience of working in Agile methodologies with automating test cases/scenario . Hadoop, HIVE/Impala, Python, Spark exposure is preferred . Excellent in verbal, written and strong organization skills, with ability to liaise at all levels of the organization Skills that will help you in the role : . Should be good with analysing the Data scenarios and profile them to maximise test coverage . Extensive experience in financial services or highly regulated industry . Performance monitoring using AppDynamics. . Readiness to learn & adopt new technologies.
