About The Job:

• We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our engineering team working on scalable microservices, AWS cloud infrastructure, and modern web applications.
• The ideal candidate is passionate about quality engineering, has hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, and thrives in a fast-paced agile environment.

Essential Job Functions:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for UI and API layers
• Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing across microservices and frontend apps
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to identify issues early
• Review and improve test strategies and coverage across the SDLC
• Own test environments and ensure CI/CD integration for test automation
• Perform root cause analysis on issues and drive continuous quality improvements

Qualifications:

• Manual - latest Web application- Automation is+ 60-40
• REST API testing and tools like Postman, REST-assured
• Debugging, AWS--
• Java- Programming language+ Selenium
• Microservices is not required for creation, person should be aware of background
• Front end side--front end testing UI---React/Next JS
• 4 and above exp, they won't train, they are looking for experienced
• Postman queries only--Rest assured is not much required

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation
• Strong knowledge of testing practices, SDLC, and STLC
• Hands-on experience with Selenium or equivalent UI automation tools
• Good understanding of REST API testing and tools like Postman, REST-assured
• Familiarity with Playwright or willingness to adopt it (bonus)
• Experience testing in microservices architecture and AWS-hosted environments
• Comfortable with version control systems (Git) and CI tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6)
• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript or Python for automation scripting
• Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools like CloudWatch, ELK, or Datadog
