About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented QA Engineer with a strong foundation in both
manual and automation testing and proven industry experience. The ideal candidate will work
closely with the development, product, and design teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality
software products.
You will be responsible for both manual testing and the design, development, and
maintenance of automated test scripts. You should have a good understanding of QA
methodologies and automation frameworks, with a willingness to grow into a more senior QA
Automation Engineer role over time.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, or API-based
applications.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and
define testing strategies.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
Analyze test results, identify issues, and assist in troubleshooting.
Maintain and enhance the test automation framework.
Participate actively in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and
retrospectives.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives regarding quality processes and tools.
Log detailed, reproducible bug reports and verify bug fixes.
Help improve CI/CD pipeline integration with automated tests.
Stay current with new testing tools and test strategies.
Required Qualifications
1+ years of QA experience, including at least 1 year in test automation.
Strong understanding of QA concepts such as SDLC, STLC, test case design, and defect
management.
Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or
equivalent.
Basic to intermediate programming/scripting skills (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#).
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow).
Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
Understanding of performance testing using tools like JMeter, k6, or similar.
Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
