• Write automation test scripts, from scratch, using an object-oriented framework (Java) for multiple applications like web-based, web services, and databases, along with extending the existing framework.
• Design, implement and maintain deliverables including test cases, test data, reports and automate of the same.
• Planning and execution of functional, system testing of products across all platforms to test various features at various phases of product development and release cycles.
• Good understanding of automation frameworks
• Execute tests as needed throughout projects, analyse and report test results. Identify and track defects through their lifecycle.
• Understanding and enhancing TCs/Test scripts using element locators (Preferably strong in XPath), web driver methods, Java scripting
• Understanding and analysing applications under test in terms of object identification
• Creating reusable components by understanding the big picture of the product
• Error handling, analysing test results and reporting defects.
• Ability to use data-driven tests and run through framework.
• Tracking defects and selecting test cases for regression testing

• B Tech / M Tech / MCA in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent with 1-4 years of experience in Manual and Automation testing
  At least 2+ yrs experience in testing e-Commerce Applications
  
  • Must Have experience in automating scripts using automation tools like Selenium Java, TestNG/Extent Reports
  • Must have knowledge on test case writing
  • Must to have knowledge on Agile process, preferably worked in agile development
  • Must have good experience in JIRA and Bug management tools and should be able to debug, document and tract defects using Jira
  • Must have good exposure to life cycle and activities involved in Automation testing
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skill
  • Good knowledge on manual testing and QA process
  • Good knowledge on Maven Framework
  • Good to have knowledge on API Testing
  • Good to have knowledge on SQL
  • Good to have knowledge on CI / CD tools like Jenkins
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • Great team player and experience in working with distributed teams
  • Must be motivated; a self-starter, results oriented individual with a successful track record
  • Strong technical aptitude and experience with the software tools and techniques
