Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with over 1 year of experience in designing and executing automated test scripts. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing concepts, a passion for quality, and hands-on experience with test automation tools. Knowledge of Python is a strong added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases for web and backend applications
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality deliverables
Identify, document, and track defects in the defect tracking system
Contribute to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) testing processes
Analyze test results and report issues or bugs
Participate in requirement reviews, test planning, and documentation
Maintain test environments and troubleshoot test failures
Required Skills:
1+ years of experience in QA Automation
Experience with any automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.)
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Basic knowledge of Python (or other scripting languages) added advantage
Experience in writing and executing test scripts
Understanding of REST APIs and backend testing
Familiarity with version control tools like Git
Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
Exposure to continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
Basic SQL knowledge for database validation
Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA or similar
Understanding of manual testing and test case documentation
