QA Automation Developer


QA Automation Developers working on the Huntington Retail Online Banking application in the Digital organization are responsible for driving test automation of prioritized application features. In this role, the colleague analyzes incoming requests, helps prepare test plans for validating features being added to or updated in the existing application, and partners with the Product Owner and Service Delivery Manager to automate and execute test plans in collaboration with the rest of their team and other key stakeholders.


This role requires a variety of strengths and capabilities, including:


Ability to analyze and translate functional requirements into QA activities for large business initiatives.


Experience creating and executing test cases, preparing test data and test user accounts, and providing accurate estimates for testing effort.


Knowledge of web development frameworks like WebdriverIO, and skill in recognizing patterns and following best practices to create re-usable UI and API test scripts.


Efficiency in all aspects of verification, including integration, functional, and regression testing.


Attention to detail and adeptness at recording defects, steps to reproduce, and cross-checking against other environments.


Management of defect reports, tracking and providing informative updates.


Participation in production validation and support as needed.


Application of Agile Methodologies to Quality Assurance Automation


Excellent communication, coordination, and collaboration skills to improve the quality of the applications being tested.
