Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and proactive SDET with expertise in automating Windows desktop applications. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, experience with automation frameworks, and a deep understanding of Windows UI technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of our desktop products.

Key Responsibilities:


Design and implement robust automation frameworks for Windows desktop applications.


Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like WinAppDriver, White Framework, AutoIt, or UIAutomation.


Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.


Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.


Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing through automation.


Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with development teams to resolve issues.


Continuously improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and framework scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.


5+ years of experience in test automation, with at least 2 years focused on Windows desktop applications.


Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, or Java.


Hands-on experience with Windows automation tools (e.g., WinAppDriver, White, FlaUI, AutoIt).


Strong understanding of Windows UI elements and application architecture.


Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.


Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications:


Experience with hybrid applications (e.g., Electron, WPF, WinForms).


Familiarity with performance and load testing for desktop applications.


Knowledge of accessibility testing and compliance standards.


ISTQB or equivalent certification.
