Job Description


Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Candidates are required to understand the PTF test assets, business logic and other dependencies, develop scripts, execute and analyse them. They will undergo training on PTF test automation tools and processes. Responsible for automation Development of new test scripts, stabilisation activity of existing test scripts, execution of existing test scripts, analyse and stabilise it to the production, take appropriate action on the test ware application issues to get it fixed from the Development Team.
Mandatory Skills :

  • BE/MCA in Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree from reputed colleges/universities
  • Two to Five+ years' experience in software testing
  • Good Exposure to software test life cycle
  • Hands on experience in development of scripts in any of the automation tools
  • Hands on experience in execution of Automation and manual test cases
  • Familiar with Automation methodology
  • Exposure to Automation scripting techniques
  • Good understanding of HP Quality Center, Configuration Mgt tools
Desirable Experiences/Skills:
  • Experience in Software Test life cycle activities.
  • Active team participation with strong technical and inter personal skills.
  • Peoplesoft and Visual Basic knowledge is Big Plus.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Will be responsible for Developing tests In PTF
  • Will be responsible for optimization/customizations during PTF conversion process as appropriate.
  • Will be responsible for execution of tests, analyzing the issues and to closely work with functional experts to resolve the failures.
  • Will be responsible for documenting issues/ solutions and preparation of status reports based on the progress
  • Will be responsible to achieve weekly/monthly target deliverables.
  • Strict adherence to Oracle and FSCM QA process guidelines
