Responsibilities CGBU ECP/IOT software development team is seeking an experienced quality assurance and automation engineer in IOT space. We are seeking a candidate with 3 to 10 years of testing automation experience in a Linux environment. Location: Bengaluru/Gurugram, India Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in development of test automation frameworks in Python, solid understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery principles. An ideal candidate is someone who can analyze needs of various groups in the engineering organization, design a suitable solution, and work with team of engineers and DevOps on implementation of the solution. Knowledge of Micro-Services architecture. Experience with IoT Development and IoT stack (Modbus, MQTT, Messaging, connectivity) will be a strong plus. Responsibilities :

• Analyze and understand existing test automation frameworks.
• Close cooperation with DevOps team responsible for Continuous Integration environment
• Design and implementation of test automation framework for Telecom products.
• Perform peer code reviews to improve the quality of the test code base and optimize its execution.
• Work on other initiatives to improve efficiency of test automation.

Qualifications/Skills:

• BS/Master degree in Computer Science.
• Experience with IoT Development and IoT stack (Modbus, MQTT, Messaging, connectivity) will be a strong plus.
• At least 3-10 years of related work experience- python, python selenium or Java Selenium automation
• Practical experience with Agile Scrum/Kanban team development.
• Experience using Jira as an Agile tool.
• Experience with development of automated tools and testing frameworks for telecom applications.
• Experience in designing test framework, test cases and validating IoT Cloud Application.
• Experience with continuous integration, test driven development and continuous delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal skills working in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self–motivated, capable of working independently when needed.
• Solid written and spoken English
