  • Coordinate and lead the Q4.0/Data Driven Quality initiative across RO-IN entities in India, encompassing the entire source-make-deliver loop
  • Develop and implement transformational competency programmes to coach and enable identified enthusiasts in maximizing predictive and preventive quality use cases
  • Drive the reduction of defect costs through the implementation of early warning systems, re-work agents, and data-driven problem-solving methodologies
  • Formulate, roll out, and continuously refine the central Q4.0 strategy, ensuring alignment with global, GB, and plant strategies
  • Standardize, scale, and sustain global and regional use cases across entities, with a focus on Connected Applications in Quality (CAQ) and Data Driven Problem Solving (DDPS)
  • Innovate and develop scalable Q4.0 solutions tailored for the India region, considering local market needs and technological advancements
  • Promote and oversee the adoption and scaling of standardized Q4.0 solutions, including 8D-AI, Ask Bosch/GenAI agents, and other emerging technologies (Agentic AIs)
  • Collaborate with OEM customers and internal customer teams to drive data-driven customer quality projects, enhancing overall customer satisfaction
  • Contribute as a co-lead for the Quality pillar of VCS.Nxt Agile drive, ensuring integration of Q4.0 principles into broader organizational strategies
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of Q4.0 initiatives across the region
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of Q4.0 implementations to identify areas for improvement and ensure consistent application of best practices
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Quality, Manufacturing, R&D, and IT teams to drive holistic improvements in quality processes
  • Represent region India in global Q4.0 forums and conferences, sharing best practices and learnings from regional implementations
  • Develop and manage budgets for Q4.0 initiatives, ensuring optimal resource allocation and return on investment
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in quality management and data analytics, incorporating relevant advancements into the Q4.0 strategy
Qualifications
A. Core Competencies & Qualifications * Expertise in Quality Management, Problem-Solving Frameworks, and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Strong skills in Data Analytics, including statistical analysis, data manipulation, and visualization
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL and Python
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality data sources
B. Advanced AI & Machine Learning Skills * Experience with machine learning (ML) techniques, including model selection, training, and evaluation
  • Familiarity with specialized AI techniques for quality, such as anomaly detection and predictive analytics
  • Understanding of MLOps and model deployment considerations
C. Emerging AI & Future-Oriented Skills * Knowledge of Generative AI applications (LLM, AI Agents) for application in quality management
  • Awareness of Edge AI and IoT integration in manufacturing
D. Soft Skills & Cross-Functional Capabilities * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including stakeholder management
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Proactive learning mindset and adaptability to new technologies and methodologies
Additional Information
Willingness to travel to Plants/Customers/Suppliers (atleast 30% of work time)
Willingness to move to Bengaluru
Good Knowledge on Data Science and AI is mandatory, Domain knowledge of Quality is optional but preferrable
