We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Software Engineer.

In this role, you will:

• The role is responsible to support the production processing (RTB), cyber security patching and undertake activities on system level design and development (CTB) of the code, testing and deployment.
• Be involved in actual production support activities, capacity analysis. Cyber security patching. performing impact assessments, performance tuning, testing and deployments throughout the delivery cycle. Utilize the technical skills and expertise to carry out software development, testing and operational support activities with the ability to move between these from time to time according to demand.
• Liaise with other engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand and drive the product or service\xe2\x80\x99s direction. Create robust technical design and a strategy for development of new components to meet requirements. Write test cases, scenarios, test plans including unit and integration tests, within automated test environments to ensure code quality aspect.
• Work closely with the other support teams, collaborate with vendor consultants at times with a strong customer focus and end to end journeys
• Establish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high quality code and data. Apply innovation and creativity to automate manual tasks.
• Working with Ops, Dev and Test Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc.) are identified and addressed at all stages of a product or service release / change.
• Ensure the service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered. Actively participate in and drive the mandatory exercises from time to time on resilience, recovery and service management. Support on-call and work in Shifts as per the agreed plans when required.
• Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Having past hands-on experience in production support activity of data warehousing or reporting systems. Experience in supporting python, unix, windows, oracle, ETL etc platforms.
• Preferred technology skills \xe2\x80\x93Python, Sql server Unix, Debugging, Shell Scripting,PL\\SQL, SQL, Control M. In-depth understanding of On-Premise Infrastructure aspects
• Ability to understand the code scanning reports, vulnerabilities and subsequent patching for infrastructure. Ability manage various stakeholders which could be Business Users, Change Delivery, Audit Representatives, etc.
• Ability to write SQLs for data analysis, Strong Debugging and analytic skills. Ability to understand the vulnerabilities and subsequent patching for infrastructure
• Ability to Conduct and attend the various agile ceremonies like PI planning, Scrum meeting and Retrospective. Having good skills to work in diverse team.
• Role demands working in shifts and provide On-Call support to production system. Good knowledge on incident management and ability to lead the team from the front during incident/crisis calls
• Candidate will be required to continually enhance the skills within a number of specialisms which include gaining business knowledge, vendor product understanding, Impact Assessments, Development, Code Scanning and Deployments along with operational / business support.
• Good to have the knowledge on the cloud-based technology.
