Position Summary

We are looking for a

Python SDET

with a strong understanding of

networking concepts

. The role involves developing automated test scripts, validating software functionality, and testing network-based applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop

automated test scripts

using Python. Test

APIs

, backend services, and

network-related features

. Work closely with developers and QA teams to ensure

high-quality releases

. Create and execute

test plans

and

test cases

. Identify bugs and perform

root cause analysis

. Simulate and troubleshoot

network conditions

in test environments.

Required Skills

Strong

Python programming

skills. Experience with

test automation frameworks

(Pytest, Unittest, Robot Framework, etc.). Understanding of

networking fundamentals

(TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, firewalls). Familiarity with

API testing tools

(REST, Postman, etc.). Good knowledge of

Linux/Unix systems

and command-line tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science

,

IT

, or related field. Experience in

network automation

or testing network appliances. Exposure to

CI/CD tools

like Jenkins.
